What’s my experience
January 2016 - August 2021
Santa Barbara, CA, US
Kevin Johnson is the CEO of Starbucks. He is also a father, a grandfather, a software engineer who became a leader and the first social impact investor of Talentsky, Inc. We owe Kevin our gratitude for his unwavering support of our mission to standardize skills and make the world a better place.
Lead the concepts of what Talentsky should do for users. This is more than what it looks like, it's why the application behaves the way it does. Some would call this vision, I consider it the front end of design, the conceptualization. After concepts are developed, we move to production design to create a UX that fulfills the concepts.
Oversee strategic planning processes to ensure strategies align with company's growth goals
Worked with Board of Directors to raise capital exclusively from investors motivated to both support the social impact of Talentsky and to realize an exceptional investment return.
June 2001 - September 2003
Head of Global Executive Recruiting
San Mateo, CA, US
Worked with Tom Siebel, Chairman of Siebel System, to recruit a new member of the board of director.
It is not easy replacing a founding member of a world class leadership team. With the retirement of Craig Ramsey, the founding SVP WW Sales of Siebel Systems, there was a need to recruit an executive that could not only fill his shoes but also advance the culture of the company.
July 1997 - June 1999
Menlo Park, CA, US
Worked with local and national leadership to develop a unique method to earn warrants in addition to cash fees resulting in substantial incremental income for the company.
Steve Jobs was the interim CEO for a struggling Apple in 1998. His goal was to simplify the product offerings, stabilize operations and create new products. The manufacturing operations were in need of new leadership and I was hired while at Heidrick to recruit a SVP WW Manufacturing Operations working directly with Steve Jobs.
