New Venture Competition Finalist
January 2022 – April 2022

Kathleen Westover and Eileen McKenna
Earned 4th place in the New Venture Competition at GWU and won $2,500 towards our business idea. The idea we came up with is an app that will serve as a mental health resource for university campuses. The app will be localized and will work with small businesses in the area (such as AMC movie theater/Orange Theory Fitness) to encourage students to immerse themselves in their communities. There will be a talk therapy provided by university psychology graduate programs and a suicide hotline.
