Worked with Rick on the first two angel/“friends and family” financing rounds for TalentSky which garnered a cumulative $10 million in equity for the Company. Managed the legal and financial aspects of the rounds. Continue to manage quarterly shareholder information report and oversee all investor stock interactions and process.

I was elected President of the Stanford Hills Chapter of NCL, a local chapter of a mother-daughter organization dedicated to philanthropy and volunteerism in a variety of non-profit venues nationwide. During my tenure, I led this 300 member chapter to perform thousands of hours of service for non-profits tackling issues around education, environmental conservation , healthcare, social services, and animal welfare.

I served on the board of El Camino Hospital Foundation from 2008-2010, an organization dedicated to fundraising for programs (not bricks and mortar) that served the hospital's patient population. Fundraising efforts included an annual dinner and gala, an annual golf outing, and various other events. Beneficiaries of the funds included programs such as pet therapy, art therapy, disease prevention seminars, etc.

Sold Charm's Company to Nestle

My very first transaction was to sell this New Jersey based competitor to Tootsie Pops, which feature bubble gum in the middle of various fruit-flavored candy coatings. It was fascinating to see the factory workings for this business, and we were engaged by the company to sell this private business due to management succession issues. Swiss-based Nestle company was the ultimate buyer of Charms...it was a sweet deal.
