At Electronic Arts, I was responsible for for over 320 HR and facilities employees worldwide across 62 offices, and managed a $186m budget. I managed all aspects of HR, Real Estate and Facilities, and Corporate Social Responsibility, including Compensation & Benefits, Relocation and Mobility, HRIT, Recruiting, Employee and Leadership Training and Development, and HR Business Partners. Overall, EA had over 8,500 employees worldwide.

Additionally, I was significantly involved in M&A activity, including strategic decision making, due diligence, and integration.

In this position, I had responsibility for the following worldwide functions: M&A, HR Systems; Industry, MBA & College Recruiting; Compensation; Stock Administration; Benefits; Management Training & Organizational Development; and the Human Resources Generalist organization.

I directly managed 90 employees across APAC-J, EMEA, and the Americas.

At Microsoft, I served as Senior Director of Human Resources for their Silicon Valley employees (1,500 people). I led HR and recruiting for all business and product groups in the Bay Area as well as Microsoft's businesses in China, Japan and Israel.

During my tenure, I acted as a direct business partner with the VPs of MSTV, MSN Hotmail Operations, MSN TV Services, and the .NET Platform Strategy group. Some of my duties also included managing people strategy and employee integration of Hotmail, bCentral, Peach, WebTV, ScoutFire and CagEnt acquisitions.

Locally, I was responsible for partnering with the Compensation and Benefits organizations to set strategy for any customized Bay Area compensation and benefits initiatives. Additionally, I owned strategy ad execution of employee programs, including succession planning, reorganizations, reductions in force, redeployment, recruiting, benefits, HRIS, management training and development, diversity, and compensation programs.

View. During my tenure I developed, proposed and received approval from Steve Ballmer for a geographic base pay differential plan that was extended to all Microsoft employees in the Bay Area.
